For lower performance, an open bag filler with a manual loading of the bag into the clamping head is used. The bag starts to be filled when the knife pedal is pressed. The structure of the scale consists of a strain gauge bridge, on which a superstructure with a filling neck is placed.
The material is transported to the filling neck by means of a mechanical conveyor (screw, belt, vibrating ...), or by pneumatic transport or gravity. There is usually a flap on the filling neck, by means of which we control the feed onto the scale.
The filler is controlled by its own evaluation unit or PLC, or by a superior control system. After filling, the bag is moved from the place of filling by means of a conveyor to the closing line.
