Single-purpose machinesSilosWe are able to supply silos for storage of bulk materials, granules of various materials (stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, fibreglass, trevira) and in various models according to customer's requirements (all-welded, screwed, telescopic, two-chamber, expedition, cylindrical, square (cellular), etc.).
External silos
External silos are dimensioned for wind stress according to EN 1991-1 according to the given site, or if the site is not specified, the basic wind speed of 30 m/s in the field is taken into account. The roofing is designed with regard to the operating pressures and snow load (wind stress) according to EN 1991-1-3.
The silo must be anchored to a concrete foundation (not part of our delivery). It must be possible to access the installation site by crane on a paved surface. The silo can be insulated with mineral wool with plating. Stable containers for bulk materials must comply with Decree 93/1985 Coll. of the Slovak Office for Occupational Safety and the Slovak Mining Office.

Internal silos
We design internal silos so that, after installation, they make optimal use of space and provide maximum storage capacity while minimizing the traffic routes. They can be cylindrical, square, fully welded or screwed. Silos can be filled with tanker trucks, or emptying stations for big-bags or bags. They are suitable for emptying by pneumatic transport or mechanical conveyors.
