At the beginning of the pneumatic transport, the transported product is mixed with air, which transports the raw materials to the required distance as a carrier medium. At the end of the transport route, it is again necessary to separate this air from the product, and separators or cyclones are used for this purpose.

Splitters and branches are an important element of pneumatic transport, whether overpressure or underpressure ones. They make it possible to change the flow of transported products in different directions. They have a pneumatic actuator controlled by solenoid valves and end position sensors. They are designed so that they do not create places where the material could settle, put as little resistance to the flow as possible and are dust-proof.
