The mixer consists of a cylindrical vessel with a conical bottom with a volume of 100 to 12,000 litres. This shape makes it possible to achieve a high quality of treatment of the inner surface. A screw shaft rotates in the axis of the vessel. The rotation of the spiral creates four transverse flows, three forces and one force caused by gravity.

This technical solution enables the rapid formation of a homogeneous mixture and is widely used especially in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The mixer is filled from above and has a superstructure for emptying bags for easier filling of powders from the bags.

There is also a filter on the upper cover and a control and cleaning doors on the side of the cylindrical or conical part. At the bottom of the mixer there is a drain hole with a flange, where it is possible to mount a flap or a slip stick. The mixer can also be supplemented from the side with a high-speed chopping mixer, or the entire mixer can be placed on a strain gauge.

It is designed for mixing dry powder mixtures. The basis is a horizontal mixing drum, in which a shaft with a mixing device mounted on both sides rotates - mouldboard blades, screw or ribs. In order to mix more complex ingredients, which would form clumps locally during mixing, the homogenizer can be additionally equipped with side mixers which ensure perfect mixing of very sticky ingredients. At the top, filler necks or a filter can be placed. Emptying is carried out in the lower part by a discharge neck or a large flap along the entire length of the drum. The speed of the motor gearbox can be controlled with a frequency converter.
