Cartridge filter stations have been developed for applications where it is possible to extract the same amount of air as with the bag filter stations but with smaller space requirements.

A typical filter cartridge consists of a cylindrical filter fabric stretched on a metal cage, which maintains its shape to the maximum filter area while allowing the insert to be cleaned with compressed air. The basket has a bayonet ring with a seal at the end which allows easy replacement into a sealing plate, in which up to 18 filter cartridges can be placed. The filter material can be approved for contact with food, it can be antistatic, intended for higher temperatures, for explosive environments, with hydrophobic or oleophobic coating.

The filter stations are equipped with vertically or horizontally installed inserts made of non-woven fabrics, which, unlike the cartridges, have a flat shape in various standard widths and lengths which allows you to have a modular filter of any performance. Filter bags can be regenerated by pulsed pressure shocks, mechanical tapping or using a vibrator. If replacement is required, the filter bag replacement procedure is simple and extremely fast. When placing the filter, it must be taken into account that there must be sufficient space above the filter to be able to pull out the filter insert. The filter stations can be used for pressure or vacuum applications.
